Ronaldinho in Chicago

It's really a shame that Ronaldinho will not be in South Africa this summer, but it's also true that Brazil is just full of talented players and belive it or not don't need him. He's an artist on the field, yet maybe he has lost a little bit of his speed from when he's was at his best while at Barcelona.

However, maybe Ronaldinho needed a new challenge, and that's what the World Cup would have offered him, a new chance to redeem himself and help Brazil win another World Cup. Many thought he should have been in the Brazilian side. Many assumed he would be there, including Nike, as seen in their Write the Future ad, where Ronaldinho makes an appearance.

But Ronaldinho missing out on the World Cup was good news for Chicago Fire fans, or at least bittersweet for those who hoped they'd see him at the World Cup, as he was able to join AC Milan in their tour of the states.

Ronny showed he can still dazzle on the pitch, with his ability to pass and move the ball like nobody else in the world, and he was quite a busy many while he visited the Windy City, from playing, to throwing out the first pitch of a Cubs game, to avoiding passionate fans who wanted to kiss him. Take a look at the images and the videos below.

The man can still pass like now one else. He uses all parts of the feet let's say.

Fan loves him a bit too much. This one fan thought he needed to get up close.

Up close and personal.

Talks MLS, basically, in Spanish, he seems to be saying the MLS is still growing and improving and who knows, one day he could play in the United States.

Throws his training top up into the stands for one lucky fan.

Ronaldinho threw out the first pitch for the Chicago Cubs. I wonder if he knows the history of the Cubs, and how they've never won a World Series.
