New England wins the Eastern Conference on a bicycle kick. A bicycle kick! (In related news, I foresee a rash of broken collarbones in the Boston area from little kids trying to mimic Twellman with their Kick-Medics - have you seen that commerical? There's a grin on his face saying I don't really believe in this product but they're paying me.)
There's been a lot of talk about how this goal should have been disallowed as dangerous play. I don't think so. He simply beat the players to the ball, don't think their heads where there before his foot, but not sure exactly what the rules say on this type of play. But Twellman's goal was a fantastic game-winner, on par with some other great bicycle kicks, maybe not as sensational as Rivaldo's, but a game-winner nonetheless. I have to say though, this one is pure class.
