U.S. National Team Prepares for Match Against Honduras

From Miami, and unfortunately no sign of Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian, we get a behind the scenes look at the national team as they get ready for the crucial World Cup qualifier and potential qualification game, against Honduras.

Dempsey will be unavailable and it looks like Stu Holden will get the start. Unbelievably, Holden is only making $34K per year playing in the MLS, but this is partly due to the fact that he didn't want to resign and is seeing out his original contract. He's looking at easily tripling his paycheck, and perhaps may end up in Europe. Wouldn’t be surprised.

Looks pretty hot in Miami and will be the same in Honduras. Good to see Frankie Hejduk out there. He always adds that little bit extra to the team.

From Soccer By Ives:

"It is no secret that I am on low wages, and the end of this year is going to be big for me in terms of what is next in my career," said Holden after the U.S. national team's practice on Tuesday.

"I'm still not 100% sure whether it's going to be MLS or whether I'm going to make the jump overseas."

A series of incredible goals from the legend. A unique talent that lifted up the players around him with his play. The Manchester United fans refer to him as 'King Eric'. Take a look.
