This video is tribute to Dutch defender Japp Stam, who after 416 matches in the shirt of Zwolle, Cambuur, Willem II, PSV Eindhoven, Manchester United, Lazio, AC Milan and AFC Ajax, retired from the game.
Stam now serves as a scout for Manchester United, covering South America. Stam was a feared but skillful defender, who at one point was banned from football for 5 months for using the steroid nandrolone.
