Argentina defeated Portugal, 2-1, in a friendly yesterday. Argentina's first goal by Di Maria was a fantastic one touch finish after brilliant ball control by Messi. Messi carries the ball across the field with multiple defenders in front of him before he plays an absolutely incredible ball into space for Di Maria - a wonderful little chip splitting the defenders. Di Maria's ability to one touch this ball to the opposite post is amazing and a skill young players should work on. He does not try to get fancy or overpower the ball past the keeper, instead he simply places it to the back post and has Argentina up 1-0. Take a look at the goal in the video below.
