If Thierry Henry can play for the New York Red Bulls. And if my old one time team the Chicago Fire want Blanco to come back. Why can't I return to the San Jose Earthquakes and play in the MLS again? I might be 41 years old but I've got the legs of a late twenty year old.

I've just had three red bulls, and feel like I can run with the best of them. Plus, for me it's not about running but timing, timing my runs and getting in position to score. San Jose has been struggling. They need someone who can put the ball in the damn net.

I watched the World Cup, every minute of every last game. And what I came away with is that I can still play. Look at Klose, the German forward who never played for Bayern Munich yet scores goal after goal in the World Cup and almost over takes Ronaldo for the top goal scorer ever.

Of course, the big difference is Klose was getting service from the likes of Mueller, Schweinsteiger, Mosul, and Podoliski. In the MLS I'm going to have to dig crosses out. The ball is not going to be put on a platter. That does concern me a little bit.

I've lost some of my speed and lateral movement. But I have not lost the ability to get in the right place at the right time. And that's the mark of a goal scorer. I need to be on the field and not up in the booth. It has been torturing me the last five or six odd years. I'm just as good as Brian McBride. I'm better than Buddle will ever be. I'm better than Ching, Casey, and all those other so called forwards Yeah, I said it.

So, this is my call to all those MLS owners out there: I'm available to play now. Yes, right now. I'm in good shape. I've been riding my mountain bike everyday for the past month. I watched a World Cup game in the morning and then went riding. I watched the next World Cup and then went riding. I can score for your team. Just call. Henry. Blanco. Wynalda. Those are three good players right there. And the best being last.
