This is an old video that I missed from a few years ago about Donovan's development into the star that he's become today. I wonder if you asked him a few years ago if he'd play with David Beckham he would have said yes. I wonder if you asked him if he'd beat Spain and then nearly beat Brazil he would have said yes.
Now, Donovan is even better than he was when this video was taken. He's gone back to Germany, with a spell at Bayern Munich. Will he try again or will he stay in LA? Here's someone who is dedicated to the game, his national team, and winning. Don't think there's a better role model for young players out their who want to play professional soccer.
