The Dutchman can play almost any position, really. I've yet to see him play say as a defender, but there's no doubt he could do it. Kuyt has been an integral part of Liverpool's resurgence the past few years. His work rate and ability to win balls makes it hard for Rafa to leave him off the pitch.
He's not the smoothest player, say like Torres, but he scores wonderful goals just the same. After playing for FC Ultrecht and Feyenoord in Holland, Kuyt moved on to Liverpool in 2006. He has now scored 24 goals for the club.
Kuyt is just the type of player you want on your team, unselfish, works tirelessly and just ends up in the right place at the right time to make the final pass or score with his head or on the volley.
