Jeremy Schaap interviews Charlie Davies in the video below for the first time since the car accident. To see him playing in the World Cup in South Africa this next summer would be amazing and something very special. Let's hope he can make it.
Unfortunately, it's a very short interview and really doesn't do the player, Davies as a person, nor the situation that much justice - it was a fatal accident remember. Perhaps they'll show a full length type of interview at a later date and or maybe Davies just can't talk that much about the accident nor wants to.
Davies is a player with incredible speed and energy and potential. A player the United States national team needs if they want to make a dent in the World Cup. Sure hope we get to see the stanky legg in South Africa.
