Catania Players Drop Shorts

Here's one way to distract the opposing keeper. The Catania players pull their shorts down to obscure the view of the opposing keeper from Torino. Don't think the Italian referrers are going to allow for this though.

At first I thought this must be from one of the lower divisions in Italy, but no, it's the top Serie A. What happened to just the amazing bending ball into the upper corner? If you can't do it, don't pull any of this crap. And really, was it all necessary, I think the player might have scored anyway.

Catania is coached by Walter Zenga, a former goalkeper on Italy’s national team.

“This is a strategy that Zenga tries continually in training,” Pietro Lo Monaco, the club’s chief executive, told RAI state radio Monday.
