This looked like one heck of a game, with lots of chances by both teams. Henry smacked the ball off the cross bar and the rising Barcelona star, Pedro, was there for the follow up. Henry looked to be a handful for Villarreal, as he nearly rose up to head up home a few crosses.
Giuseppe Rossi (oh how the U.S. national team could use him, especially with the losss of Davies) may have had one of the best chances towards the end of the game. He was put through by a wonderful chip pass from Sienna and cleverly tried to slip the ball past the keeper only to have the ball cleared off the line by Puyol. He recalls it via his Twitter account. The chance comes at around the 3:20 mark in the video below.
This was quite a match for Villarreal, to earn a draw against Barcelona at the Camp Nou must give them some confidence going forward in La Liga. Still, Barcelona was able to rack up another high possession time figure, but just didn't get the goals they needed to rack up another win.
